well the ati kicks in around 3500rpm it's just a turbo that is belt driven to put it simply. So up top you will really get a kick but down low will not be anything. Also you will need upgrades usually in fuel delivery bigger injectors and yes the tuning for these. I am not sure if anyone here is running the ati currently but I am sure you will get a few more answers then waht I can give you. good luck!

With max boost being equal, you will need a 3600+ stall with the ati to get comparable times with the radix and a stock stall.

With the ati, you'll need bigger injectors, and a good tune($1000) plus the stall($500-$900) You'll end up spending more to run the same times with the ati. Plus, driveability gets alot worse with a big stall in a truck.

There really isnt a problem tuning with a procharger, unless you try to tune it with the FMU that the kit comes with. If you get some 42lb injectors and tune it you wont have any problems.

With my 3000 stall I see about 3 or 4 lbs of boost off the line. Its not bad but its not as good off the line as other blowers would be. But It pulls hard up top. Im using a D1SC so I dont know if youd see as much boost off the line as i do, but I think its worth it to pay for the D1SC upgrade if you do end up going with a procharger.

Overall Im happy with it. My only complaint would be the fact that they didnt really design a good intake for it, they just slapped a K&N filter on the back of the blower basicall and it pulls hot air in from right above the headers. Im gonna fix that issue soon.

If a Radix is what you are wanting, talk to some of our sponsors like TByrne and Speed Engineering. I bet they can get you a Radix for close to the 4500 as long as you are installing it yourself. Otherwise, the ATI is not going to give you the track times the Radix is unless you do the supporting mods as BlackBlown02 stated. The ATI seems to be better for all out race builds and cars where the Radix is more suited to a daily driven truck, IMO.

If you are looking for the most economical route. Save a bit more money and get the Radix. Any other blower is going to need ALOT more money and time to get what you want from it. The Radix is awesome right out of the box.

I got crappy gas mileage with my procharger but i was on it alot to. I had a fmu with mine and it ran fine with 12lbs.. I saw boost around 2k to 2300k rpms which was perfect because then i didnt have a traction probelm the truck just took off and went. I maybe spent about 30mins tunning the truck with procharger. i had stock timing, tr6 plugs 160 stat. Im sure by going with the bigger injectors and what not you could get more performance out of it but i was happy with the set up i had. i could pull away from stock ls1 camaros top end.

Its not detonating, but as I sit now Id get smoked by a Radix truck. Thats with a 3000 stall, 43lb injectors, and a custom tune.
Hopefully that will change with the 12lb pulley, alk injection, and all the other crap. I think things will be different when its all done though. LOTS OF BOOST
