ASP Pulleys installed!

Cool, I just ordered some too, both harmonic balancer and alternator. Do you notice any more down low torque. (seat of the pants o'meter)? Any charging issues? Instead of overdriving my alternator, I was thinking of getting a rebuild kit for it to make it put out about 140-170. I'm going to install mine myself. I've done this on many other cars but not my truck. Wish me luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

My truck can spin the tires pretty easy now, I have launch kind of easy on the 0-60 runs to keep from spinning to much. I did nail it at about 15 mph and the tires did start to break loose, I backed off before they did though. The charging does go down to about 12v at idle but picks back up at about 850 rpm. I had pulleys on my previous truck (95 Chevy) for 3 years, no problems at all, both were underdrive like the ones I have now.

I had my mechanic do it, I've read to many horror stories and didn't want to mess with the installation. Took him an hour and a half, and cost me $105. Money well spent in my opinion after seeing all it took to do. He took off the intake tube, fan cover and shroud, and fan. With his experience and air tools, it was wham, bam thank you mam for him. My last three 0-60 runs with the old stop watch were 6.38, 6.37 & 6.38. I did one run after the install and it was 6.19, big smile, big smile!! I'm a happy camper!

I installed my ASP's about two weeks ago at the same time I installed my UPD intake. Double thumbs up. That big assed heavy Z-71 really wants to go now (and the <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> UPD sounds really good under acceleration).
