ASP or Powerbond
#2
I have a powerbond pulley and it is ok I guess, never had an underdrive pulley before sooo, didn't really notice much with it, does look better thou... But I would definately order a long bolt when you go to install it... The factory bolt was tooo short to get it started... Oh and I had to order a ASP overdrive Alternator pulley, cause my volts were down at idle 13ish instead of 14ish....

They both function the same, like BlackGMC said you would benefit from an alt. overdrive pulley. I have a crank pulley install tool that makes crank pulley installs a 2 minute job. If you're interested in one pm me.

I've had them both. Actually, I have one of each LOL. Think of it like MSD vs Taylor wires... both serve their purpose, some like one some like the other. IMO, pick up the cheapest and put the savings toward something that'll help you out more.

what you guys with 04 and older trucks dont know is the 05 newer trucks have a power mangement system,it basicly tells the alternator what voltage to put out.there's a amp meter like clamp that goes around the neg battery cable to monitor the load.so unless you got a MASSIVE system in your truck you dont really need the alt pulley.
