ASP Crank Pulley & Electric Fans installed-New Dyno #s!
Got the ASP Crank Pulley, Electric Fans, 130A Alternator, and NGK TR-55 Spark Plugs. The belt that came with the pulley worked with bigger alternator! The truck feels more responsive mostly down low. It definitely shifts harder also.
After they installed everything, they strapped it on the dyno. My old numbers were 270rwhp/290rwtq and at the crank: 338hp/363tq.
The new dyno numbers are 286/296! I gained 16rwhp/6rwtq. So the crank is now putting out 358hp/370tq. It was better than I expected. The fans look really good also.
Oh yeah, I did a run without the K&N filter (No filter at all!) and only picked up 2rwhp. So, I guess K&N is a good flowing filter!

Nice. I just got my Flex fans in, and I guess will get the ASP. Need to change my plugs too.
Do you think the 130A alternator is enough? Do your lights dim at night or anything?
Or should I just go with a 200A just to be safe? I would think running a 200A at say 35% is better than running a 130A at say 85% is better, what do you guys think?

Well I have the stock alternator, so I would be better off getting a new one whether it be the 130 or the 200. I don't really know which, was wondering who has what.

-I'm not having any problems at all right now w/ charging or lights diming. Everything seems like it did before, except the extra power . I think the 130A alternator will be enough. I'll be putting my system back in my truck in a few months and I think it will be fine.
I drove my truck around tonight and could really feel the difference throughout the rpms. It's alot easier to ride around where my truck used to be kinda sluggish way down low.
