Default asm header question

I'm in the market for some headers and was going to go for the asm headers. But my question is are the spark plugs relatively easy to get to, or is a spark plug change gonna take all day. Also, how much was the rest of the exhaust aprox. gonna cost? What type of muffs should I go with, and where can I get that nifty x-pipe at? Thanks

The spartk plugs should just as accesable as with your stock exhaust manifuld. As far as your exhuast goes, you can get a nice sep up with single 3" Magnaflow for less than $200. If you want to go dual with an X pipe, this might run anywehre in the $300-$500 range. Excellent choice of headers btw.

yeah, the spark plugs are pretty easy except for the back two. takes a little moving around in there to find a good angle to go with. i found it a whole bunch easier to remove those two with a palm size swivel ratchet and a two inch extension. there could be a better way but that's how i found my way through it. oh and it took maybe a half an hour, should be easier the second time around though. oh and one more thing, do not tighten those plugs too tight. i broke about 4 or 5 of em trying to get them in real snug...i'm gald i went with the cheaper ngk's over the ac delco's!

as for the cost of exhaust, that depends on the brand you get and what you want out of the setup (performance vs sound)

yeah I'm looking for more performance and noise is not really an issue with me. Could I use these headers when I swap the 4.8 for a LQ9?

If LQ9 = 6.0 then they will fit.
