Default Ask the experts!!!

whats up I am new here. I have an 03 CHevy 5.3 EC. Having exhaust work done this week and want some advice. I am converting my stock exhaust to true dual with magnaflows and electric cutouts. Is this going to be a good setup or will I be dissappointed with the result . Is magnaflow a good muffler or should I look into something else. By the way parish you rock that is you kick *** truck!

Sounds like a similar setup I have. Sure, you'll like it, but seriously, don't expect MAJOR changes in performance. You will notice something though. Are you going with the 2 in 2 out Magneflow with the X pipe built in, or and Xpipe before two single in/out like mine.

DTP's??? You mean QTP's as in electric cutouts? They are fun. I also dumped mine before the rear axle.

you may experience a little torque loss down low. especially when the cut outs are open. what mods do you have besides getting the exhaust done?

a camshaft would be about as much as a damn stall and IMO i would rather have a stall because with the camshaft comes the tune or should come the tune IMO although i took me a month to get mine (dont follow my example on that) and you dont have to get a yank or a pi stall go with a tci they are great but kinda loose
