Default ARP Rod Bolts

Allright fellas. I'm working on gettin my 6.0L all ready to go. I was wondering how hard it is to change out the Rod Bolts. Or if someone knows of a thread with a How To. I'd like to do it all while i have the motor out. So if anyone can help me out that would be great. I have a Comp 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa cam. and the heads are going to be milled 30-40 thousandts. Give me some input.

doing rod bolts while the engine is out, that's easy. There's a torque sequence, and that's about it.

Be sure to pull out all of the little ferrules in the rods,it will throw off your torque if you dont remove them. When you loosen the bolt out of the rod use channel locks to pull out the ferrule and bolt as one. You will see what I mean when you do this.

so the bolts are not pressed in or anything? They just unscrew pretty much and you screw the new ones in?

yeah, they're just bolts. They're bolted threw the rod caps, then threw to the rod itself

Do 1 rod at a time. They are cut and mated. Unscrew old bolt, tap out the ferrel, screw in ARP bolt. TQ to specs. Should take about 20 minutes on an engine stand.
