Awesome deal. I hope it's still around in about 2 years time, when I'm done with all the regular bolt on's and heads.

Man ... that is awsome! That's actually probably cheaper than you could order parts for and build yourself.

I'm assuming that $3619 price would drop $550 if I shipped you a block, correct?

No. The price would increase $550.00 if we didnt get a usable 6.0 block.

That would be with the SBC rods.

I love tax refunds!

Thanks

Shouldn't the LS1 rods be in there since one of them has the offset the other doesn't?

I don't remember which is offset, but I thought that the SBC rods wouldn't work in it as well as the LS1 rods because of the offset in them.

yeah thats why i asked, i know some guys run the offset sbc rods and others think it is a bad idea especialy since eagle has ls1 rods avaliable now. i just figured i would have to add $200 or so to that price to get the ls1 rods.

Please ... don't just PM the upgrade. I would like to know why you are using the SBC rods instead, is it just to keep the cost down or what? What would the price be to get Eagle LS1 rods or some other 6.125" rod?

If I remember right .. the Eagle's are only 6.1", but the 6.125" rods would be better, especially for a high HP engine.
