Well aside from being obnoxiously loud (not saying that is bad!) and scaring people on the streets, they are good for a bit of topend power. I would not use one without a stall converter as the lack of bottom torque is not fun. Slight backpressure is needed for torque on a street vehicle.

Mine rusted pretty fast too.
