anyone use type-f transmission fluid?
i have heard that you can used type-f transmission fluid, in place of dextron-3 fluid. the reasoning for this is that type-f is better for firm shifts. it doesnt allow the clutches to slip as much as dextron-3. it has been called "a shift kit in a bottle". i was wondering if anybody has heard this too? is it something that should or shouldnt be done? are there any adverse effect on the transmission life?

Type-F is powersteering fluid too...
Why is the reason behind using a non recommeneded fluid? B/c it's slightly thicker? DexIII/Mercon is so cheap just change it often and be done with it. I just do a fluid swap every 10K mi.
