My build was similar to his (except only 4" stroke). After 7 years and 19k miles the engine still runs perfect.

My 383 is just over three years old and maybe 10k on it but running great. Also a 4" stroke. it gets 4mpg better than my 5.3 with the mp112.

Same here. I only drive the rig a couple times a week and have about 15k on my sroker. Used better pistons designed specifically for the longer stroke on this build and haven't had any issues except keeping the tires on the pavement 😁

I got a deal on a set of Diamond Pistons before Wiseco bought them out with off-set pins. Very little piston rock and stronger skirts.
