Default Anyone know Fuel Injection Specialties?

Does anyone have anything to say about Fuel Injection Specialties of San Antonio, TX? I'm needing a dyno tune and a friend of mine has set me up with them, but I know Nelson Tuning is in the area too and now I'm wondering. I have an '03 w/5.3 h/c

they are really excellent people to deal with but they cant tune your truck as well as NELSON PERFORMANCE can! NELSON PERFORMANCE will have a dyno i hear in the next month but to be sure get a hold of ALLEN and he can tell you later, kevin

Are you getting your own shop or is this dyno going into Joe's place?

Have you ever had any work done by Fuel Injection Specialties? Do you have dyno numbers to back up this claim?

I don't have a problem with Allen at all...I have a problem with all of the nutswingers that put other shops down while putting Nelson Performance up on a pedestal.

If you have had work done there, I truly apologize. It just seems that you have to have a RADIX blower and a NELSON tune to fit in around here. There are other ways to make power, and plenty of fine tuners out there that deserve a chance. Unless you've had work done at "shop A", don't say that "shop B's" tune is better just because you have "shop B's" tune/product/etc.

FIS and I actually get along very well. We exchange info and talk often.

Give them a shout and they'll take care of you, they are a great shop.

Tracy is the person/tuner you want to talk to.

later,

allen

Scream .. I think a lot of Allen's 'praise' (I guess that would be the right word) comes from all of us TX guys. As far as I know he's the only tuner that specifically targets trucks and has interest in trucks and not cars. Allen does trucks like most of the tuners do cars I think. Him being local (or not so local in my case) to a lot of us TX guys, doing a bang up job, and catering to the trucks more so than the cars, I think that's what gets him lots of word around here.

On a side note ... Maybe we should move the H-town meet to SA ???? We can all go and break that dyno in the right way.

Ah ha! The SuperFlow is almost there! I got that Diablo for the ol' Ford also. As soon as I toss on two more parts I've got then get I'm gonna get it dyno'd out there and have that chip flashed!

Scream... I don't have a Radix and frankly don't want one. I prefer N/A power mostly now. Hell I put more funds into the Ford and that Subaru. Performance is good fun, but some do it better than others.
