Just wondering if anyone has a TR230 (reverse split) cam, and how they like it.

I'm considering a cam swap while my engine is tore apart

 

I ran that cam in my old 03' (see sig).
I ran great but I didn't get the full potential out of it due to not having any LTs. It definitely needs to breathe. Oh and bigger stall I'm sure would have help but as a daily driver it was fine.

Edit: I just saw your setup which looks like you will be setup great for it. Only other thing I had different was the 243 heads which bumped up my compression.

 

Sounds like the MTI X1 i ran, great cam for all around use

 

I'm looking at the X1 cam and the TR230. They're so similar i probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Hopefully i will pick up some hp with one of those cams and an LS6 intake when i get it back together

 

i was debating between the two also, then i found a deal on a x1 and decided on it. ill have the in this weekend hopefully. my set up will be a bolt-on(except udp) LQ4 with mid-legnths
