Hey guys been playing around with the idea of making my own set of traction bars.
I wouldn't mind seeing some good pics of the Caltracs .If anyone has any
Looking at making them adjustable with threaded rod ends
Just wanna see where they locate the Brackets up front.
I been doing a little bit of reserch on this and it seems the other truck guys < lightning guys> speak highly of the rancho style bars<JLP and jdm> quite long over 50inches in length. The rancho style being fixed front and back with just the pivot up and down. Poly bushing at the ends too.
I might end up making two sets to see what works better.
A fixed set racho style and an ajustable set Caltrac style
Be nice to have an alternative to caltracs
Any advice on doing this Project

Would like to also know. This is the only kit I found for my truck. but cant get the guy to email me about prices and what the kit consist of. My truck doesnt hook now..I know it wont for dam sure with the new motor coming
