Anyone have FabTech 2" lift upper control arms?
#1
I'm looking to see if someone could make a quick measurement of the upper bumpstop pad on the arms and have a few questions regarding the general design.
I'm trying to get 1.5-2.0" of suspension rise out of the front end to maximize weight transfer on drag launches (saving a few lbs wouldn't hurt either)... After making some more passes down the 1/8th, I'm topping out the stock suspension causing the 26x11.50x16 ET streets to spin to 1.7x 60fts. Even with the aid of the progressive controller the times stand to be improved.
Thanks in advance.

well if you're really cheep, you could mount your upper ball joints on the bottom of the control arms. . . . . .

The upper ball joint is arm and ball joint in one unit. They press in and do not sell a repair kit for them. At least as of a year ago they didn't.

I do have pancakes on the rear, but because of the weight diff, they do need a little help squating to the rear.
