Looking to maybe get something under the truck other than the stock muffler so the 5.3 can breath a little easier. Just wanna swap mufflers and want something that flows well but isn't all that loud. Basically been looking at a couple Magnaflows and the Cherry Bomb Pro... from what I've heard of the Extremes I'm not a big fan...

 

Im running one currently, long tubes with no cats, dumped before the axle, sounds good below 3000 rpm, after that it has a really weird crack compared to most mufflers, I wouldnt recommend it, it is loud though

 

Cherry Bomb brand was popular when I was a kid,they're back in the game. They were what Flowmaster is today ....not sure if their new products are any different.

 

I like the Cherry Bombs from a flow standpoint, far better than any flowmasters. Just looking for good flow yet keep it more deep and quiet...recommendations? Corsa seems to come up a lot when I search... I don't have that kind of $$ though... So far a 12259 Magnaflow is my other choice... I'm just curious how the CB would sound through my otherwise stock system...

 

if this is going as a cat back on a stock truck i would do it...my (5.3) truck had a cherry bomb pro on it for 3 years and i loved it, way deeper and a lil louder more aggresive than any of my buddys flowmasters....but yea if i would have put lt's,ory on it would have been crazy loud lol
