i am just wondering has any one noticed it when they first got the truck.my truck had 25 miles on it when i got it.it did it then but not as bad as now.possible for it to be bad from the factory

I have been waiting for the part fot my truck for 3 months and my father in law is a service manager in Abilene Tx he says they don't know when the parts will be in

going by the backorder numbers and how many are being made a week, it won't be until june of next year when they are caught up.

I had the updated part# installed when it first came out...it seems like it was back in march or april.No problem yet.The clunking comes from the part of the shaft that slides back and forth,there was too much clearence there,the new shaft comes with a coller(sp)thats crimped down more around the shaft to take up the clearence.Seems to be working so far

Got it real bad in my 03. I finally got my tailgate cable notice and made an appointment for tomorrow. I printed the TSB for the steering clunk and will hand them that also. I hope they have some replacement shafts. The noise is pretty annoying.

When i am backing out and turning left a lil coming out of our garage and hit the little concrete that is like a very little speed bump it makes this loud noise and the steering wheels shakes and **** and then when i turn it ( not hitting any holes/bumps anythinng) it makes this awful grinding noise or something. Its an 02 suburban. paid ****** 35,000 for it and it does this. its bullshit.

Well took it to the same place we got it (gm dealer) and they (supposedly greased it) it still ****** does it and i told em what it was doing and they drove it and never heard it. i dont f'in know.

ever since i got my front crossmember bar tightened. it hardly does it. once or twice a day. sometimes it skips a day.
