Default Anybody ever used corvette mufflers?!

Ok, i was at work and this guy in a corvette bought some really expensive
exhaust system that one of the techs installed in the back today. well i asked if the customer wanted the old mufflers that the tech took off and he said no. So i took them and now wondering if there is some kind of way to put them on my truck? I would like to see what it sound like too. B/C i want to run true duals on my truck. its just something i want to experiment with though. If it sounds like crap, im defintely will take them off.

lol, why?

Thrush turbos are cheap enough and would def sound better/more agressive yet keep the same quiet idle.

They were **FREE** - use them. If this is something you want to do - then do it. You'll at least sound like a Corvette (at least, somewhat).

im not sure about this but i bet it would be quiter on your truck b/c of the higher output of the vette engine i would think it would have to be more restrictive than your truck muffler to pass inspection. just my theory though, i could be totally wrong. im like the other guys i wouldnt even consider having all the work done just to have another factory muffler.

clamp them on & see if you like the sound. can't hurt anything.

read somewhere that the ls7 mufflers had electronically controlled baffles that open @ full throttle. that'd be a cool vette muffler to install.

Batteries in the mufflers?

So? I had a guy trying to give me a civic engine for free a couple months ago. Doesn't mean it would be a good idea to put it in my car.
