Looks like a big event. Sounds like lots of fast cars will be there. Any truck guys want in? I'd love to see an "all ls1" truck category going on there. I can think of several guys who should make it. Maybe if we could get enough to show, we could get a few minutes of track time. You can run 11s without a cage there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

spring break shoot out is the one in seguin texas the souther shootout is in louisiana i plan on attending the one in seguin on march 9

your not inviting me? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> i just looked it up on mapquest, 1000miles <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> i might be willing to make the trip to get in on some good racing but i would say there is a prety good chance of breaking something and it would suck to be 1000miles from home and have the tranny or front diferential go out.

i am jealous of you guys down there but things seem to be picking up around here, seems like there was about a 10-15year quiet spell for any kind of racing but now i can find places to go and people to race, might just be the internet alowing people to get organized.

 

ALL of those LS1/LT1 trucks can race in the bracket event. You probably have a good shot at winning the brackets, our trucks are dead consistent. I've made it to the finals twice at HRP in my truck, but redlighted on one, and broke out in another.

We are also having a car/truck show.

It really isn't as much fun lining up against a 10 second C5 as it is another 5000 pound truck. Know what I mean?

i know exactly what you mean, truck vs truck is more fun than racing an open header race car.
