I have a 1998 GMC sierra Z71 and it came with the 5.0L and i was wondering what swaps can i do,or what is the best performance upgrades for this motor,it already has intake and tbs.

 

For a fairly direct swap, I'd check out GM's crate 383 If you wanted to get more involved, you could swap in a GENIII mill, such as a 6.0 or 408 stroker

 

come on fill me in what all do i need for the 6.0l and how do i make a 408 stroker?

I'm guessing that the 6.0 swap would require the engine with accessories, harness, PCM, motor mounts, trans crossmember modification, driveshaft modification...the list goes on. I know that it's been done, and it sounds worse than it actually is, but in the end it's a nice swap
