Yes, it's much more stable in the higher RPM's, but how long are you planning on driving at 6K+? That's why I said most wouldn't recommend it. Can it be done? Of course, but unless you're driving in nothing higher than 2nd gear, what advantage do you get in a daily driver that won't see those RPM's frequently? Sure we all drive hard but we don't road race/auto x. Don't mean to bash you, so please don't take it that way. Just letting you know why most opt for sticking with hydraulic rollers.

i have ran soild lifters on all but one 6.0 and i like it but then dislike it i never got a cam to match for the lifters and yes it is different.and no you don't have to set the rockers more than once but you will have to use a feeler gauge to set them. i have a set of lifters i can sell you cheap i can no use them on this motor i am building and have no use for them.
