.571/.579 are the appx lift levels with your 1.85:1 rockers. You'll need some pretty stout springs to pevent float and such.

Should make solid power to 6000rpms easily.

will the 918's work?
if not any suggestions on springs, also going to go with some hardened push rods.
I was also going to find some of the valve cover spacers.

I dunno how much 918s can hold, sorry. I'd do hardened rods for sure perhaps some better retainers.

Why do you require cover spacers?

Ive been told that with the bigger rockers I will be hitting the valve covers. with the lift from the cam.
If not than I wont need them but, I dont wont to screw anything up.
anybody know whats better than 918's?

I think that cam would work good for ya !!

Seriously though ... I think the 918's would be fine. I have it shifting at 6300 and it feels like it is short shifting to me. I also have 7psi behind the valves too. I think in your 4.8 6400 would prolly be a good shift point. You shouldn't have anything to worry about spinning that high with the 4.8's short stroke and lighter rods.
