Default Any extra hardware needed for speed engineering LT'S

Hello everyone

I just ordered the speed engineering long tube headers and y pipe for my 03 Silverado with the GM gaskets and hardware but on the man LT threads for these headers people were saying to buy a better band clamp for where the long tubes meet with the y pipe itself. What was a recommended clamp for that? Also should I use any thread locker on thebolts? And last question is what would be the best way to tune out my P0420 code I'm going to get removing the cats, I have a diablosport intune but I don't know if it can tune out codes with a custom tune from black bear or lew and I don't think tech 2s I have at my dealership can tune them out either(I'll have to check when I install them). Any help or suggestions is appreciated

your diablo can turn them off with a custom diablo tune from some joker who does them. check their website for "custom tuners" near you.

Would it be a good idea to wrap these headers or leave them alone?

I coat and wrap mine all the way to the catback.
Quiets up ALOT of valve noise.

2" wrap with a 1" overlap.

Vht ultra high temp ceramic paint. One can per header.
DEI black header wrap on headers. Wrap them tight as you can and use stainless hose clamps. Those stainless zipties dont work worth a ****.

Use cheap ebay header wrap for the y pipe if you do it.

Use 26mm bolts. Look at summit for size then ebay some stainless bolts.

Amazon for some aerokroil to soak your oem manifold bolts.
I sprayed mine twice a day for a week and they came out easy.

What about dei titanium wrap instead, I can get two 2'-50' for a good price and that should be enough for both headers and it also says you don't need to coat it with the paint, and what about the GM included bolts? Those aren't good enough or go with a arp stud set still

I was going to do the aluminum foil for a seal as well but why get the normal wrap when I can get the dei titanium wrap for 34$ and not have to get the high temp silicone coating
