Default another pushrod ?

Ok my rockers were noisy. I just Installed comps 275 and patriot golds and now its even worse. I have the crane gold race rockers that came as a kit with the pushrods and noticed the push rods were stamp 7.250 my heads are 243 milled .050 with GMPP head gaskets @ .053 from my searching on here I think I may have to go back to the stock length of 7.4 what do you guys think.

Your best bet is to get a push rod checker, or the easiest thing to do pull the valve cover, remove rocker on one of the springs, mark it with a sharpy and let dry, put rocker back on, tighten to 22lbs crank motor don't let it start or turn it over by hand, remove rocker and see where it was sitting, if closer to intake there short, if closer to ehaust manifold there long, if in the middle just right, turn motor over atleast 3 revalations, and good luck.

The crane rockers are adjustable. I think I,m going to put the stock rockers and push rods back in and see where it comes out marking the top of the valve. Its also running warmer than before I wonder if westers got the timing advanced to much. might also put the other computer back in and see how it runs for temp.

I had a ton of problems with those rockers on my old truck, I couldnt ever get them adjusted right, they made a lot of noise, and honestly I dont think they did any good. I ended up switchin them back out for the stockers.
