Thanks. That spot was the longest/straightest place I could install it, so I went with it. It's still plenty loud enough when you want it to be, but that nasty, crappy sounding LS engine rasp and gurgling sound is pretty much eliminated. Some people like that sound. Personally, I think that raspy gurgle sound is horrible. Actually went through 4 catback setups on my 2000 Camaro SS before finding one to cure it, lol.
If I had started with a quieter muffler like a stocker, or maybe even a Magnaflow or similar, it'd be 100% gone IMO.
90% gone is close enough though.

yea I have a 24" magnaflow as it stands now, its just about right as far as loud goes... I really do not want any louder, and like you said, that rast **** is garbage!

I will keep everyone posted on the LT's, I think I have made up my mind, now I just need to wait for that check from Uncle Sam. I plan to finally put in my Vette servo at the same time. ideally I would like to do a cam and e-fans at that time but I just dont see the funds being straight by then

thought so, but rel3rd mentioned that those headers where pretty raspy, so those resonators must not work very well..
