you got the 1 pin or 2 pin harness?

TO make it easy you need to remove the plastic covering over the connector on the other side of the harness (on yours it should be green and blue).

 

i have the two pin and i removed both harness and the grey plastic covers on both but now i need a pcm pin

 

what I did was stick the pin in thru the top and push it in, but not too hard because if you really smash it in there the wire or pin will snap (as you did). Then I took some tweezers and pulled the pin down from the connector side. Once it's in place a little white clip holds it in place.

 

For the time being you may need to put the clutch fan back on if you need to drive your truck asap!

 

how did you fit tweezers in the pin hole

 

no!

You remove the plastic cap over the connector (the part that goes into the PCM) and that exposes all the pins. Then you can pull the pin down with some tweezers

 

The first time I did mine I ripped off the pin too. Second time around I shoved like a little pick through the hole first then pushed the pin through no problem.

 

so your talking about the color covers on the bottom etc. blue and green

 

i did the same thing but still happened to rip one off
