Default another cam question for 5.7L

ok i've called comp a few diff times and spoken with different people and i have two different numbers they recommend, which would be more computer friendly? It WILL get a tune, it wil have 1.6 ratio rollers, and it will be supercharged later this summer but i want my computer to be able to handle it. or are they so close that it wouldnt matter?

That I know off you can't go over a 480 lift on intake or exhaust. The reason it that you will have to machine your heads for the additional lift. Longer pushrods and other stuff to make it work with the vortec heads. I would recommend the CCA-08-302-8 because it has both intake and exhaust lift of 480. This is also a cam for computer controlled applications. Look it up in Jeg's or Summit racing. Its around $250.

With the 1.6 rockers you will put it around 500 lift.

Also it has a basic operation of up to 5200 rpms which is just about all you will be doing once you go supercharged on the vortec 5.7.

i'm swapping edelbrock e-tec 200's so the heads arent a problem, i jsut dotn relly knwo what the difference is between these cams other then the a little less lift

I would highly recommend the E-tech 170 over the 200. The 170 out flow the 200 until high lift and have better port velocity. The cam you have listed is not big enough to take advantage of the 200 high lift flow numbers.
