so i need longer than the stock in the motor, or longer than the ones I got off the zo6. I'm goig to have to read alot more here to understand more I guess

Both. I believe the ones in the z06 and the ones stock in your motor are the same length. as stated they made up the difference in the valve length.

 

They're the same length.
