Default 02 Sierra Denali 6.0 Questions

I know there are alot of threads that have all sorts of cam info, but most of the ones I have been reading are speaking of 4.8 and 5.3's

I have a friend that has the LS6 Cam & Springs out of his vette and they only have about 12k miles on them and hes basicly giving them to me for free. I haven't found any specific threads on 6.0 LQ4's with this cam showing me specific gains, benifits, ect. Not saying they aren't out there, I just havent come across them yet. Is this swap worth the time it takes to do it?

I would go bigger...but thats just me. Depends on what your plans are for the truck, what are your goals and usage of the truck?

Its just a DD mostly and I pull the bassboat to lake every now and then. I'm not looking to go crazy with it but it needs more ***** I definitely want a cam that peaks around 6k rpms and isnt sluggish off the line. The truck came with 4.10's front and rear. So that helps but I figured a good cam and longtubes would help it out alot. But if the LS6 isnt going to gain me much then I don't want to spend the 5+ hours installing it.

LS6 is a waste for a truck. it feels good up top but loses all its ***** down low.
