6.0 swap is the best thing i've done to my truck. I have a lifted Silverado on 37's with 4.56's and just about EVERYONE who rides in my truck is amazed by the torque it has. It's a little more than just a stock 6.0, but I still can't imagine a built 5.3 performing like this thing does.

For what its worth, I added ARH long tubes a few weeks back and I'm installing a Roush supercharger this weekend. All on my 2008 5.3 4x4 Silverado.

i bought a set of ARH headers for my silverado and i f*&king love them. the owner of the shop is a stand up guy and amazing to deal with. if he made headers to fit my wifes acadia i would buy them just to do business with him again. hands down the best quality header and i didnt need to heat and beat them to get them in.

All of your accessories and transmission will bolt up to it. Especially since you don't want to switch gears. When thats not enough hp for you, then go ahead and start adding more hp.

You will likely have lifter probs adding a cam with those miles + the better heads and tq of the 6.0L will make all the difference.
Oh you guys are sissies. I did my cam and head swap at 154,000.
