Aluminum 6.0L block?

Yeah, I know the aluminum 5.3L is out and I've heard the C6 will have a aluminum 6.0L block but, it might not be backwards compatible with the current blocks. 
GM better not screw us over again.

Blown-I just called a local salvage yard one day and asked if they had one. They said "no, but we know where we could get one" They had evidently bought some front suspension parts off a 2500 from a yard in Texas a couple days earlier. He said he could check and see if they still had the motor. He called me back and said $1450 including shipping and 5 days later I was driving around with some newfound power! Can't wait to get it back in there.

My self I would still stay with a iron block. Oh hell maybe i wouldnt maybe I wouldnt. Price with be my deciding factor
