when my pump started leaking it would collect a little puddle every night. i could never see up to the leak from the bottom but i would just have a small puddle under the engine every morning.

You need to tackle one issue at a time.

If your loosing coolant, you need to determine were its from and were the coolant is going.

If you have the cracked castech 706 heads you will likely see it mixing with the oil and will usually create a milk shake in side the engine.

The cooling system can be pressurized with a tester to see if and were its leaking from.

As far as your cats, if the engine is throwing a code they have determined there no longer efficient enough and must be replaced.

Don't waste any money on that until you have fixed the mechanical issues with the engine.

If you can't do it or don't have the tools, take it to a reputable mechanic and let them diagnose it for you.

Well there isn't any water under my truck and my oil looks fine. Also I've read somewhere that the 02 senors could throw the cat code.
