Default Airaid intake tube with stock box.

I am looking at the airaid intake tube with the stock box and I already have a drop in filter thought I might get another filter in stock bock with intake tube and it would be just as good as any after market. I like the looks of the AEM and Volant but I am not able to justfy 250 bucks for just looks.

i dont if it is jsut as good. because the box still has all the little ridges and restrictions in it.
but i think its better then nothing. we have one on my uncles 6.0L and he said he could tell a difference with it.

I've run that same setup on several of my trucks, my current one included. I like it alot, I can't justify spending the xtra $$$$ either, especially when you figure the amount of power (which isn't much) that you gain from a CAI.

If you're that concerned you can do like I do and take a dremel tool and port and smooth the inside of the stock airbox.
