well i read in truckin magazine that SLP has a Air Temperature Module for trucks. If you go to the SLP website and type in that you have a truck they list the air module as a product you can buy.

??? All I know is the MAF is the same as the LS6 and the IAT is a part of the MAF and it is visible when the MAF is removed. I don't see a way that this would work. Plus I asked SLP about this a year ago or so and they said it would not fit.

it may not fit, but isnt there an individual wire for the IAT sensor? so if you would want to do this wouldnt you just tap the resistor into that line? that seems like it would be to easy to actually work thoguh

It is very possible that it will work. Might want to check with Joseph or someone else about it though. I just don't think it is big enough of a gain to go cutting those wires. If I am thinking correct that sensor works by how much current (volts/whatever) is traveling through the wire like on 02's. I know some people have spliced into wires like this, but I think it is best not to inorder to keep an accurate reading.
I have my weather in a bottle so I'll just spray an extra 5 hp to make up for it or just eat less that day and make up for the power loss. Not trying to be smart but I just don't think the gain is worth the effort. IMO
