air intake question??

Default air intake question??

I have a 5.3 liter silverado. Which one would be better. Volant or GMPP air intake system????

You can add the down tube to the Volant but the basic pieces other than that are pretty much the same between Volant and GMPP. They're very similar. I have the Volant (old style) with the ram-air tube and I'm happy with it. The GMPP piece is a good one, also.

Neither will be better than the other my friend. I have the GMPP abnd have had the Volant before....and I can tell absolutely no diffrence whatsoever. It just matter which one you thinki is the prettiest or which one fits your budget better.

What's the difference between the "old style" and the "new style" Volant? When did the new style come out?

i think the old style is the carbon fiber look lid, and the new style is the polished aluminum embossed lid, i think the new style came out a year or two ago.

Id also get the volant with the ram air scoop. Decent price, and looks great, and a better design than the K&N i think.

Outlaw is cheaper than both and comes with a washable non oiled filter.

i thought i read that outlaw was going/or already out of business? You used to see there intakes all over ebay, but i dont see them there anymore.
