Default Air intake

as some of you know I am putting an LQ4 in my kit truck and need to get an air intake on it. I am toying with the idea of buying some silicone bends and tube and making one or just buying a stocker on ebay.

Any opinions as to what would be the best

or the cheapest.

Also I have heard that the oil/mesh filters really don't make much of a difference. If that is the case can I buy any oil/mesh filter if I don't go stock or should I try to get the money to but a dry filter.

What is your experience?

Thanks

Make your own intake. Many guys on here have including myself. As for the air filters, gains are minimal, just make sure you clean them or replace (paper filter) often.
