Default Air filterless track trial

I am wanting to pull my air filter off next time I go to the track. See if it is limiting my airflow.

Wouldn't want to suck in a big June Bug or something What would you guys recommend I put over the intake? Thinking of clamping on some window screening?

Figured some were doing it, thanks for confirming. Sounds like someone needs to do a bit of cleaning.

MAF is stock, didn't really know how small the screening was. Itty bitty bugs probably wouldn't hurt much

Thanks guys!

I have an 84 Mustang I drag race and it's faster with the stock air cleaner than no air cleaner or a K&N! 12.9 @109 NA 5.0.
