Default Air Filter Question

I've got the AEM Brute Force CAI on my truck right now. Well a couple of weeks ago when I cleaned my engine bay, I forgot to remove the plastic bag around the filter and collapsed it when I started the truck up. When I went to the parts store to hopefully buy a replacement, I was out of luck due to the fact all the filters I found had an end on them. My question now is, could I just buy one of these filters and a silicone coupler to mate it to my MAF. The only reason I ask is because the system reused the plastic/rubber ring from the stock airbox. If anyone could give me an idea as to the part # for the filter I should get and the size silicone coupler that I would need. TIA.
