Default AHH! competition is high

Well, well, well!

I see we have some new times, congrats to Mr Mix and JoeJoe. Both Supercharged and Squeezed! I honestly thought Mix would be going all bottle but boost is cool too

Having some motivation to push harder now, I've been testing 170+hp levels, still on the stock motor. So far fueling is definatley an issue. I have found the limits of the stock pump and injectors. On the progressive shot I have noticed a much more steady a/f but after 8-10 secs the a/f drops lean slowly. Looks like rental car fuel cell, pump and foggers are going in the truck. Stage II is on the way shortly with some dyno tuning and hopefully tracktime. I have also opted to swith the super power shot solenoids to cheaters. The upgrade alone with the same jets seems to be good for about 10 RWHP but also needed subsequest fuel pressure tuning.

Who knows I might just have to pop a "stealthy" cam in for good measure.

Did we ever think an 11 sec street driven truck was all that easily had?

Unless I'm wrong Mix is all bottle. The SC means Single Cab I'm guessing.

I see that 11's are possible but 10's is a whole different game to get there we would have to be pushing upwards of 700 rwhp and this means most likely someone is going to have to install a fast computer setup which would be real interesting but also weight reduction would be a big thing think of how much are trucks weigh it is way too much but maybe one day we will get there

well, it goes back to the issue of how balsy you are. i think 10s could be had for sure if someone would put together a forged motor in a truck and then put a MASSIVE shot on it (250-300) get race weight down to around 4000lbs and put out about 650rwhp on spray and there you go. There are plenty of ls1 guys that have made 650rwhp on normal computer.

just need to have more experimental people. a forged 408ci iron block can take you a long way

the thin holding most of the trucks back is the damn tranny. engine strength can be easily solved, but pushing this much weight through a tranny that can hold it as a daily drive is hard to get.

well i guess only time will tell but more or less i'm talking about people on this board not newcomers i mean did you see the truck in sport truck with a roll cage and everything but it sucked since there was no time that could easily be a 11 second truck but we will never know but we will see won't we
