Default advice on programming

i am selling my programmer today, i don't know what to do so i am asking. should i spend the money and get ls1edit? or pay for a custom chip from ed wright, or get the diablo sport tuner. i will have the cam and springs, etc. what is better? i'm thinking you guys will say edit cuz of the fact that i have cam etc. but, my question to that is, how hard is it to tune with the edit? i don't really know that much about the technical parts of the computer system. i know you guys will help me out with the edit if i get it. thanks for your help.

From reading around about LS-1 Edit, if you dont know alot about fuel injection and computer tuneing its better left alone. Your best bet (IMO) with your mods would be to get someone to dyno tune it. Ed Wright can do this for you.

I don't have "Ed Wright", LS1Edit or a Diablo. But from some of the things I have heard about "Ed Wright", I would shy away from him. Not trying to bash, because I have not personally delt with him, but I have heard of programs not getting complete or correct from there. With Ls1 Edit, you could find a local F-body shop that might help you out with the programming. As far a Diablo, they seem to be a better option for you by looking at what you have done and are planning. With the Diablo, you can get it reprogrammed to suit your needs and not have a lot of down time like you would having to send you PCM out for a week or two. But what do I know, I still have an HPPIII. But it will be Dialo or LS1Edit for me when I get my ducks in a row and make up my mind if I even want to go nuts with this truck or go get a stripper and go off the DEEP end. The stipper option will set me back about 1 year.

yes you will be able to down load different progams. Diablo sport is playing catch up with all the different trucks and cars and such. The news is when they are finished with their duramax programmer they will start putting these programs out. they will custom build you a program you can download into your programmer from your pc.
