Default adding an oil cooler to a 350

i've been having an issue with the oil pressure dropping pretty significantly in my 95 prerunner when the engine gets to operating temp. it drops down to about 10psi at idle. when i get on the gas it goes up to about 35psi. i know chevys are notorious for doing this but to me it seems it drops dangerously low at idle.

i changed the oil and it still does it. i dont want to move up to thicker weight oil as the pressure at start up is almost 60psi.

the only thing i can think of is to run an engine oil cooler. my 94 has one stock, so i just want to find out what others have done. do i just need to find the same part the 94 has. keep in mind the prerunner is nothing close to stock. the block is from a late 70s truck and the stock radiator is long gone.

any input helps, thanks.
