Default AC problem, help guys

Ok when I turn my ac on I will sometimes hear the clutch engage and my amp meter shows the hit, then it will just turn off for no reason. Then it will come and go with no code being thrown. Any ideas? Maybe low level, the air is ice cold when it does work so I dont think it is that. I do have elec fans and one is wired into the 12v signal from the clutch. I looked for obvious stuff but found nothing. I need some idears.

Swap the relay, if it continues try a pressure test.

Pretty normal for the pump to cycle when the truck is running.....it shows on the gauge because of the drag on the front engine accessory drive.....Sounds normal to me, if it is blowing cold air I would not worry about it too much.

No, it actually stops working with the air on. It will blow warm like I turned it off then it will cycle on and off.

and you are sure that your fans are coming on with the AC? If you are it sounds like you may have low pressure in your AC.

You can get the whole ac pressure tester, and charger, with a can of r-134a to carge the system for less than (I think) $20 at walmart...
