Default ABS and eBrake lights on "service brakes soon"

Yesterday backing out of a parking space, the truck locks up...wont go anywhere in drive. Put it in reverse and it moves, then drive works, but it feels like its locking up when I turn (I'm thought brakes/diff/trans) I hear a popping sound like a bolt or something rattling around. Take it on the road and it seems fine but I can hear a rattling sound and it shudders hard when I brake the first time. Got it home w/o any more problems except when I braked hard.

Its shuddering when I brake moderately hard, which might be the abs engaging......but what could have been making that rattling sound I was hearing? It almost sounded like something came loose and fell off the truck on the highway....could it be the ABS gear/sensor? About three weeks ago I had the brakes off while swapping spindles......

any info before the last resort (taking it to the dealer) ?

check the emergency brake clip the little screw that hold it in place is a piece of **** lol I had that problem when i first bought the truck. Also check the drive shaft and make sure the to two hole strap bolts are still there.
