The owner was a real nice guy real easy to work with. The intercooler dimension are 24"x 8" x 3.5" and the inlet and outlet are 2.5" and are centered on the tank.

Wow, that looks almost exactly what I drew up for a buddy of mine. I guess where else are you going to put the thing, under the hood might work but you would need some type of ram air hood for cool air. And then it neds some clearance undrneath so it could flow through. I guess under the truck would be easiest, coldest air and least expensive. Man I am getting phyched for this this turbo!!!!

I don't know how well it will work for high boost, but for 5psi it works great. It keeps the IAT's down when I'm towing.

If you wanted to go from 5 psi up to like 8 psi or whatever on the boost control Switch, would you get the truck tuned for the 8 Psi?
I would only run the higher boost when street racing or at the track, so 5 psi 90% of the time.
What would you do in this situation?
What mods need to be done to go to what level of boost?
Like stock injectors max at like 5 or 6 psi.
maf maxes out at........
Know what I mean???

well you need bigger injectors and pump for sure..... look into colder plugs and possibly valve springs for the higher boost.

the sts kit is meant to run 5psi and if you go much above that, the IAT's skyrocket usually, so an intercooler or methanol kit is neccesary. Personally, i think an FMIC is the way to go.

yes, you need to get the boost controller or a new WG spring to run a constant boost. and i would only get an LS1 or HP tuners tune by someone who knows whats really going on. Tune it for the higher boost and retard the timing some more and it should work out for you.
