Default ??? about tb bypass,ok for air in coolant line?

when doing the tb bypass, can i just clamp each tube, unhook them, and then stick them back together w/ the connector and not have to worry about whether or not i get an air bubble in the line. Doing this mod soon. Please help if you can.

Take the line off the passenger side of the TB and put it directly on the hose barb on the drivers side of the head. Use the same slamp, that way it's truely a 'free mod' since you don't have to buy the connector. I wouldn't worry about air in the lines, that's basically what that line's for.

GM makes their trucks with a small coolant line that runs from the engine to the radiator only it runs into the TB to keep it from icing over in case you live in Antarctica. Since most of us don't then we don't really need 200 degree coolant heating up our air running it into the engine so we take it off. Pretty good free mod and is a lot easier if you have midget hands. I suggest it to anyone. May only be a little bit of extra power but it's free and it's more than you had to begin with.

Is Canada considered to Antarctica for this mod?

I wouldn't worry about it freezing up. If it's that damn cold out ... you need to be inside somewhere warm.

He pretty much hit the nail on the head though. It's a coolant line that runs from the head vent line through the TB back to the radiator. I would imagine it is just a small amount of flow, but I guess none would be better in this case.

Don't worry about the air bubble.
