Abnormal wear on TCI crank pilot extender.

The extender isn't fixated to the crank or converter, so it need not rotate with them. Also, the flexplate flexes in and out and there really shouldn't be any angular deflection but I'm wondering if there is a very small component. There has to be an explanation for the findings.
Are you really trying to suggest that your crank and converter are rotating while that little piece stays in place, or am I reading that wrong?
Now, your crankshaft flexing could very well be part of this equation. Let's keep in mind it is TCI... Same brand as comp. looks a lot like other il issues we have seen from them as of late.
