Stay away from any of the cheap non dot approved crap.... Cant remeber what brand they are, but ive got a set of maybe six month old turn signals that are already starting to collect water in the driver side.... Pissing me off, thats why they got replaced to begin with

My truck is the next generation front end compared to yours but the info may help anyway - I got some headlights off ebay from VIPMOTOZ - they fit well and are snug in the bracket, look good, and were OK when I still had the halogens in there. Problem noticed once I installed 5K HID's, there's a smoky-looking film inside the lens like they didn't clean the plastic very well during manufacturing before sealing the lens to the housing. You don't see it at all while they're off in plain daylight, but light 'em up at night and they look kinda crappy.

Like that from brand new. They had maybe 2 hrs total on them from new with the stock halogen bulbs, then I immediately noticed the film on them from the moment I fired up the HID's.

The taillights from the same brand have the same haze. It's a manufacturing flaw.

They were kinda cheap, so I'm just ignoring it for now. My originals were in really bad shape - headlights were beyond restoration (lots of tiny cracks and a spot where someone melted a wire across one?!), turn signals were full of water (OEM lenses too, not aftermarket), and taillights were broken. Such is the life of a salvage auction truck.

I'll end up replacing them later so I'm interested in this thread to see what brands people are having good luck with. That is, besides laying out the bucks for brand new OEM.

Just use hot glue to seal the cheap ones. Easy and quick.

I actually like the Spyder Auto projectors (SKU 5009593). They've been very good to me for about 4 years now with 50w HID (the projector optics are phenomenal for Chinese), but recently the adjuster brackets have been getting pretty loose on the pins. Overall not bad at all for $200 lights.

Oh, but the high beams suck. You're better off getting an LED bar instead.

yep hot glue or clear silicone alone the top and side seams where the lense meets the housin and a drill a small hole at the lower most part of the light as mounted on the truck. I have done that with all my headlights, turn signals and fog lights and never had any problem with water or moisture inside them. I use the cheapest lights from ebay too.
