For that cheap, get to 6.0. is it a lq4 or lq9?

go with the 6.0, thats what i did on my x cab, i have seen so many surprised faces when i pass em up, priceless lol.

the lq9 is the cadillac motor with a little more hp, the lq4 is the work truck motor, both are great, when you up grade the motor with cam and bolt ons the lq4-9 will see similar #s.

if your wanting to beat lightnings, definitely get a 6.0. and while its out, swap in a cam, converter, long tubes and call it a day

Lq9 has flat pistons and lq4 has dished. IIRC the lq4 has a little bit lower compression too.

lol sounds good to me!

about how much hp would it put to the rear wheels with a 6.0 lq9, cam, converter, and longtubes?
