I bought a 99 ls1 ecu for 30 dollars at the salvage yard. i was wondering if it would work on my silverado and get me some gains?

compare the service number if they both end in 4896 you're good to go. Sometimes the 411 is compatible, but I have run into problems before when trying to replace a 4896 with a 411, very rare , but it does happen.

later,

allen

Not going to be any gains from a stock PCM to a stock PCM. Why dont you send it to Allen, that will get you some HP!
