I can say without a doubt mine is lots more than 410 with Jesse's tune. I would bet any decent tuner can make more power than Hypertech's handheld. So if they made 40 more hp @ 3750 and 60 more lb/ft of torque at 1000 rpm! And tons extra everywhere in the powerband.

Check out these stock figures from Hypertech on the 8100 vs the 7400. Initial grunt the 7400/454 will do better than the 8100!

EDIT: I have added 02-06 8100 and 02-06 6.0L. Much different. The 7400 will still cream a 6L in towing, but the 8100 is king (as it should be). Now, diesels......

After seeing these graphs I don't see how a 8100 is really worth much over a 7400 at all, only slight bit more power at some rpms that you rarely NEED to go up to unless you are on it.

I once pull started a concrete mixer at a job site when the driver burned up his starter motor trying to crank the engine over with the drum engaged.
Usually average about 14-15 unloaded and about 12 towing. High mpg was 16 and low was 9 pulling a 10,000 lb John Deere.
